Adjectives
In the previous lesson all of the adjectives followed a form of the verb sein and there was nothing unusual about them. For example:
Der Mann ist klein.
But what happens if the adjective appears in front of the noun?
Adjectives
Look at the following sentences that have the adjective before the noun. For the sake of simplicity, we’re going to say that each of these people or things is hier (”here).
Der kleine Mann ist hier.
Der intelligente Professor ist hier.
Die schlanke Frau ist hier.
Die schöne Frau ist hier.
Das blonde Kind ist hier.
Das weiße Haus ist hier.
Übung - Exercise
Look at the picture and try saying that these various people are here. Use complete German sentences.
